FLIPPED CLASSROOM

A flipped classroom is an instructional strategy and a type of blended learning which aims to increase students engagement and learning by having pupils complete reading at home and work on live. Problem solving during class time. Flipped learning is a methodology that helps teachers to prioritize active learning during class time by assigning students lecture materials and presentations to be viewed at home or outside of class.

One of the most exciting advancement in the modern classroom is flipped learning it hinges on the idea that students learn more effectively by using class time for small group activities and individual attention. Teacher  then assign students lecture materials and presentations to be viewed at home and outside of classroom day , prioritizing active learning.

Teachers explain a concept to students either on video or through presentations software with voice over. Students can watch the content before class and prepare for the days activities. This gives them freedom over how, when and where they learn. Because the students are already familiar with the material when class begins, they can spend their time collaborating with their teacher and other students to solidify their understanding either individually or in small group.

There are the five best flipped classroom strategies to help us spend less class time lecturing and more time doing hands-on activities and skills practice assign reading with question to answer.

·        Create lecture videos.

·        Provide demonstration videos.

·        Use digital curriculum

·        Create an online class discussion group

I design the following classroom flipped learning.

At first I provide the demonstrations videos in different way, Like youtube videos about healthcare topics. There are many great health care topics that lend themselves to video demonstrations about right videos for the students.

Then, I create inside and outside circle. This is an interactive discussion exercise. I arrange the students into two concentric circle equally distributed.

The students within the inside circle will face out ward and the students on the outside circle will face inward providing a partner for each students. After being given the directive one student speaks, while the other listens and then the scenario flips This will creat e an engaging discussion. We can use the same student to answer a maximum of two questions, when time is up,questions seleted for classroom discussion
